4 April 2024, the salary threshold for new applications has been increased to £38,700. The current Skilled Worker visa holders may fall under transitional arrangements and be exempt from this. You are required to offer the salary to an overseas worker or migrant worker who is in the UK according to the Home Office requirements if you wish to sponsor them.

A Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) is required by the sponsor to sponsor a worker. While there are no fees for making a CoS request, there is a non-refundable issue fee of £239, when assigning the CoS to the identified worker.
