Yash Dubal is a Director of the firm and Senior Immigration Caseworker. He is walking proof that people can create successful, prosperous lives in a new country. He came to the UK in 2003 with only £1500. He founded A Y & J Solicitors on the principles of honesty, professionalism, reliability, helpfulness, and approachability. The firm has reached its peak and it is now a Legal 500 law firm and won ‘Best Immigration Law Firm’ in 2018.
Yash cares for both our high-net-worth and business clients. Operating a successful venture himself, he understands the pressures on entrepreneurs, business owners, highly skilled workers, and Investor Visa applicants. Therefore, he works quickly, ensuring all paperwork is meticulously prepared, and takes the time to understand your business. His motto is to find out what success means to you and create a strategy to achieve your ambitions.
Yash also specialises in complex Judicial Review cases and appeals. Clients have said he is “efficient and full of energy; his research skills are unparalleled, and he is an expert on sponsor licences”, and “Yash Dubal is a sharp leader and has an exquisite legal mind”.
Giving back to the community is one of Yash’s passions; he has completed the London Marathon for Pratham, which works to tackle education gaps in India and completed a multi-terrain run to raise money for the British Red Cross. He acts as a mentor for many SME’s regarding obtaining and keeping a UK Sponsor Licence and recruiting the right skilled employees. Furthermore, he regularly speaks at technology events and is an avid reader.

Arjun Dubal focuses on business development with both the corporate and individual service areas at A Y & J Solicitors. He provides analysis and strategic planning within the organisation, along with managing public relations and marketing.
His multifaceted approach has expanded both individual development and team dynamics at the firm. He has worked tirelessly to promote growth and expansion whilst developing current resources and recruiting staff to meet increasing demand.
Arjun enjoys reading philosophy and experiencing nature. He is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.

As a Senior Immigration Caseworker and an immigrant from Romania, Diana appreciates the difficulties facing clients who receive her advice. She has been working in immigration law for over seven years, and she has one simple motto for client care – “Find out what they want to achieve and make it happen”. Diana never gives up and will tenaciously fight for her clients until they get the result they desire.
Being able to think creatively and challenge the Home Office in an accomplished manner are aspects of her work Diana relishes in. Her work focuses on Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visas, Appeals, Judicial Review, Tier 2 Suspension and Revocation, and all other areas of immigration law.
Diana holds a degree in law and has in-depth knowledge of International Law. Her clients confirm that she “works tirelessly”, “pays meticulous attention to evidence and detail”, and “is a ball of positivity and a road to success”.

Diana speaks Romanian fluently and is conversational in both Italian and Albanian.

Parvez Khan is a Senior Immigration Solicitor within the firm.
He was admitted as a Solicitor in April 2008 and has great deal of experience in dealing with a wide range of clients and has undertook various immigration matters both for entry clearance as well as in-country application, including Family & Spouse Visas, Human Rights, Settlements, Nationality, EEA applications, Appeals and Judicial Reviews.
He takes a friendly and professional approach to working with clients to achieve the constructive outcome. He prides himself on being easily approachable, engaging and caring. His clients have praised him for his inventive techniques and for going the extra mile to ensure a positive result. Each case is unique and has its own complications and he enjoys problem solving and the desire to achieve an optimistic solution where possible.
In his spare time he enjoys going to the gym, travelling and spending time with his family and friends.
Parvez Khan is fluent in Urdu & Hindi as well as Marathi and Pashtu at a conversational level.

Toby Way is a Senior Caseworker specialising in corporate immigration including sponsor licence applications and Tier 2 applications.
Toby graduated with a Law Degree from Queen Mary, University of London and later completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Moorgate.
Toby enjoys advising businesses, be they large existing companies or start-ups, on their UK immigration options.
In his free time, Toby enjoys going to the gym and reading books on Soviet history. Toby is also currently learning Russian and Georgian.

Faiza Masood is an Immigration Solicitor who specialises in Human Rights applications, Family Immigration, Entry-Clearance applications, Detailed cost proceedings, Judicial Review and Appeals to the First-tier Tribunal.
Faiza completed her LLB Law degree with a grade of 2:1 at City University London in 2015. Thereafter, she began working as a Paralegal at a Law firm based in central London in 2016, and she became a Trainee Solicitor at the same firm in 2017. Throughout this period, she developed expertise in Immigration law and experienced a variety of interesting and challenging cases.
Since then, she completed her Legal Practice Course with commendation in 2018 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2019.
Throughout her years of employment, Faiza has established intrinsic legal judgement; as a result, Faiza has developed a capability of assessing cases and producing sustainable solutions to complex matters.
Faiza is capable of undertaking all types of Immigration work. She is kept driven by her strong desire to assist clients in achieving the best possible outcome within their immigration matters.
In her spare time, Faiza enjoys going to the gym, travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Charlotte Catto is an Immigration Caseworker specialising in PBS and Family Immigration applications.
Having completed her LLB Law degree at the University of Essex in 2016, Charlotte has specialised in immigration law becoming regulated with the OISC at Level 1. In January 2017, Charlotte began working at a boutique immigration law firm in London where she gained knowledge and experience in a wide scope of private immigration matters.
Charlotte undertakes all types of immigration work. Although her expertise centre around Tier 1 applications at all levels, sole representatives of overseas business applications, as well as family settlement and nationality matters. Charlotte has worked on challenging matters with the Home Office and has successfully seen refusals overturned for genuineness under Tier 1.
Charlotte is determined and passionate in achieving results for her clients and believes that every case has the potential for success if dealt with proficiently.
In her spare time Charlotte is a keen reader and loves travelling to new countries. She also enjoys cooking and experiencing new cultures and cuisines.

Shurui is, an Immigration Paralegal. She supports the Senior Immigration Casework team in providing assistance to on various private immigration matters including Entry Clearance and in-country applications.
Shurui completed her Bachelor of Law and Master of Laws in China. Shurui continued her education in the UK and completed her LLM at the University College London in 2016. She is also an IAAS accredited casework assistant.
Shurui began her career in UK Immigration Law in 2016 and has since gained invaluable experience and insight into the practice and procedures of UK Immigration Law.
Shurui is passionate about her job and thoroughly enjoys assisting client obtain their UK visas.
In her spare time, Shurui enjoys swimming, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She likes reading fiction especially detective books and watching crime dramas.
Shurui also speaks fluent Mandarin.

Amin is the Business Development Associate at A Y & J solicitors.
With previous experience in working in a Business Development role, he has become accustomed to working in a high-pressure environment with the ultimate goal in being able to master the craft of understanding client’s need and exceeding client expectations. Amin is determined in bringing the best out of the firm and growing A Y & J’s stature. After studying business at Cambridge Regional College and then graduating with a Marketing & Business (BA Hons) degree from University of Central Lancashire, Amin has always had an eye for the commercial aspects of a business & has previously built up a strong track record of satisfied clients.
Amin firmly believes that the key to growing a business is by building on its ethos. Maintaining excellent relationship through transparency, hard work and bespoke service is what will help everyone grow and pull in the same direction. He has experience in Client Services, which has helped lay down the foundations of having a holistic understanding of client requirements.
A huge sports fan, particularly in football, Amin is an avid Newcastle United fan and also helps run the local six-a-side football team. He believes that it is important for the mind to explore and understand new cultures; a keen traveller, Amin has previously visited Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia & New Zealand during a 4-5 month voyage.
He is fluent in speaking Bengali (Sylheti).

Dilip Rajani is our business development principal responsible for growing A Y & J Solicitors’ business and profile in India.
A former President of the Institute of Business Agents, Member of the National Association of Commercial Finance, and a Chairman of the National Association of Estate Agents, Dilip was invited to join the College of Fellows for his services – the highest honour bestowed upon its members.
Over many years, Dilip has earned a robust reputation for excellence with lenders, suppliers, and clients. This is in part through his position as a business transfer agent, selling businesses as going concerns. Under his management, an increasing client base saw a demand for an in-house financial services facility, which created 35 new positions.
In 2001, Dilip moved to his company’s London office, where he focused on acquisitions for investment clientele (including property), international companies, arranging purchase finance, restructuring finance, and property development finance. He enjoyed working with a global clientele, from Africa, USA, India, Portugal and Turkey. In addition, Dilip opened offices in Nashik and Mumbai.
On a personal note, Dilip is a strong believer in humanitarian work volunteers to help less fortunate people around the world, He has also served twice as a President of Lions Clubs, firstly for Leicester Charnwood Lions Club and then for Southall Lions Club.
