Core Values of A Y & J Solicitors – Why Choose Us?
We are a UK immigration law firm that helps people get their UK visas and create a better life for themselves and their family in the UK.
Our purpose is to use our experience, expertise and passion in the UK Immigration law to make a difference in people’s lives. Every day, we bring families together and help people advance their careers in the UK.
I would be sharing our top 3 core values in this video. Our top 3 core values are honesty, passion and providing the best customer service. Let me explain these values with some examples.
This first example shows our commitment to honesty: a client named Raj visited us to get a legal advice on his UK immigration matter. After a detailed and careful review of his case, it was apparent not to pursue his case further. We provided him a clear and impartial legal opinion. Raj was very grateful for an honest advice from us. Sometimes an honest advice might not be the one you wish to hear; However, an honest advice can save your great a deal of time, resources and energy and that also set you in the right direction. At A Y & J Solicitors we value honesty in every transaction. Our word is our bond, and we do what we say.
Another core value at A Y & J Solicitors is passion. We are passionate about immigration law. This is a very interesting experience to share with you. A client named Mr K came to me with an application to submit for a Tier 2 visa. As a part of the Tier 2 visa application, you are required to satisfy the maintenance criteria normally by maintaining a specific amount for 90 days always and at least in the bank account. Mr K did not maintain the funds required and the only option he was left to leave the UK, leaving behind his good future and career.
Mr K was devastated with this situation, but I was seeking a solution in my head at the time of an initial consultation with him. I asked him if I could speak with the HR department to ask them if they could certify maintenance, as I knew Home Office would accept this solution. Mr K responded, “Yash, I tried many times and they have said no every time to this option” Hmmm..I asked him if he would let me try one more time speaking with his HR. I picked up the phone right away and while we were still in the consultation, I spoke with the HR. The HR repeated that it wasn’t in their policy to certify maintenance for employees when issuing a certificate of sponsorship. I just explained over the phone ‘Home Office’s policy guidance and persuaded the HR where the HR was at last convinced to certify the maintenance for Mr K. At the end, Mr K had his Tier 2 visa and the whole positive outcome happened due to persistent and passionate approach to the case. This is how at A Y & J Solicitors we deal with every case.
We also believe in great customer service and Here’s an example: In the immigration business, we deal with a lot of deadlines. We had a client who needed to submit a response with legal representation to Home Office by a specific day, but he was very late submitting his information to us. He came back with all the information at 6 o’clock of the day of the deadline. Even though the information was submitted after the close of business, we stayed late and worked nonstop to submit the response to Home office before the midnight deadline. This is just one example of how we offer the best customer service. Our client reviews on Trustpilot attest to this.
So, just to summarize, these are real examples of our top 3 core values – honesty, passion and great customer service. Last but not the least, I want to add that we believe and strive for continuous improvement. Yes, we are good, but we can be better tomorrow than what we are today.
UK immigration rules are complex and constantly changing. If you think we can help you with any UK immigration matter, please get in touch with us.
