Ancestry Visa

If you are an Applicant from a Commonwealth country and have a grandparent born in the UK, you may apply for the UK Ancestry visa. You may also claim ancestry if either you or the relevant parent were adopted or were born within or outside marriage in the UK; Holding a UK Ancestry visa allows you and your dependant to live and work in the UK; To qualify, you must apply outside the UK, and you must be able to satisfy visa requirements; You must also be able to show that you can work and intend to take employment in the UK; and that you can financially support yourself and your dependents in the UK.
