Successful Sponsor Licence Application Using Priority Services
Mr S is the director of a Company which was incorporated in June 2011. The Company specialises in Heating, Ventilation and Cooling systems (HVAC) for commercial buildings and businesses. Recently the Company expanded its portfolio to shop, office and residential buildings to offer a complete package for shop fit-out and commercial buildings to residential conversions.
The Company was thriving and needed to recruit the right skilled staff to keep up the high standards and reputation and at the same time expand its business. For this Mr S required a Sponsor Licence to recruit skilled staff from outside the UK.
Mr S approached A Y & J Solicitors seeking guidance on applying for a Sponsor Licence for his Company.
How we helped
We advised Mr S on the requirements of the Sponsor Licence application. A company cannot employ a skilled worker from outside the UK without a Sponsor Licence. We guided Mr S step-by-step through the online application process and provided further guidance for the submission of documents to the Home Office.
After the submission of the Sponsor Licence application, we requested for a Priority Service. The request was approved, and our client’s Sponsor Licence application was approved within 2 working days and the company is now an A-rated sponsor.
Mr S was delighted with the result, and he is looking forward to working again with us for assistance with the Skilled Worker application once they have identified a suitable candidate.
