Background
Mr S is an employee of an overseas-based company that wanted to expand overseas and open a wholly-owned subsidiary in the UK. Mr S was previously refused a Turkish Businessperson visa.
Mr S was selected for the role by his employer and approached us seeking guidance on applying for Entry Clearance to the UK as the Representative of his employer.
How we helped
We prepared a comprehensive checklist outlining all the documentation required and provided our client with the relevant templates required. We assisted our client in gathering and reviewing the mandatory documents to demonstrate that he was recruited and employed in a senior position by the overseas firm and that he also poses the relevant skills, experience and knowledge.
We drafted a detailed legal representation letter setting out the case’s background and demonstrating how our client meets the requirements.
We have further assisted our client and completed a mock interview preparing the client for a potential interview.
Result
The application was submitted in early April 2022 and because of the situation in Ukraine, the application remained pending until late September 2022 when the application was approved.
