Premium Visa Service is a facility that provides a quick decision on your immigration application. There are many reasons to opt for a Premium Visa Service. Perhaps you have made urgent travel plans and need to go to a premium service centre to have your application for Extension of Leave to Remain or Indefinite Leave to Remain looked at the same day. Or perhaps you just do not want the stress of waiting weeks for a decision on whether you can extend your visa, or your settlement application has been approved.
By investing in having your visa extension or settlement application considered at a premium service centre, you can receive a same-day decision if your application is straight-forward.

What to prepare for Appointment at the Premium Service Centre?
There are several documents you must bring with you to your appointment at a premium service centre. These include:
- A printed copy of the application form and document checklist
- Your current valid passport
- Any previous passports
- Two passport photos with your name written on the back
- Your existing visa
- A receipt for the payment of your visa and immigration health surcharge
- Supporting documents
The current cost of having your visa extended or application for Indefinite Leave to Remain processed at a premium service centre is an addition of £610 to the cost of your application. If your appointment is cancelled because of a problem with the Home Office, such as an IT failure or a fire alarm, your fee will be refunded. However, should your application not be completed due to you not having the correct documents, the caseworker requiring more information, or if you have not paid the healthcare surcharge, you are unlikely to have your money refunded.
By investing in A Y & J Solicitors’ Premium Visa Service, you can be confident that your application will be correctly prepared, and all the information UKVI need is ready for your appointment.
Client says, “I used A Y & J Solicitor for Tier 4 to Tier 2 application. Everything was taken care of by the case worker, including filling forms, checking documents and making home office appointments.”
What is Process at the Premium Service Centre?
Our lawyers will try and book an appointment at the nearest premium visa service centre to you.
When you arrive at the premium service centre, you will normally be asked to sit in a waiting area. Your documents will be collected, and someone will come and take your biometric information; this simply involves your fingerprints being scanned and a photograph being taken.
Once your biometric information is collected, you will return to the waiting room.
There may be a multi-faith prayer room available and toilets, and, depending on the centre, there may be a snack machine, water and a TV. Just in case there is not, it is advisable to bring a book, food and games for your children if they are attending the appointment.
You will be told on the day if your application has been accepted or refused. Your Biometric Residence Permit will be posted separately and should arrive within seven working days (however, it can often arrive sooner).
By using A Y & J Solicitors’ Premium Visa Service, you can be assured that your application and supporting documents are correct, and a good preparation may assist and increase chances in receiving a decision on your request to extend your visa or approval of your settlement within the same day.
