Instagram to instruction in twenty-seven hours

She saw the ad one morning, used the eligibility tool, spoke to us within the hour and instructed the next afternoon. Her partner was in India, his exams were in October, and she had no time to shop around.

The challenge

• The couple were not yet married, so this had to be an unmarried partner application rather than a spouse application.
• Her partner had been in the UK until January 2026 and left when his post-study visa expired, so they were split across two countries.
• Her stated salary under her occupation code sat well below her actual earnings, so the financial position had to be evidenced rather than read off the headline figure.
• Her partner had exams in the UK on 18 October, and she wanted to submit within two weeks.

What we did

• Advised on the route the timing actually allowed. The unmarried partner route now, rather than waiting for the marriage, because the exam date would not wait.
• Confirmed the relationship evidence existed. Ten years of it, which is unusually strong for an unmarried partner case and removed the most common weakness on this route.
• Moved at the speed the client needed. Fact-finding call within thirteen minutes of her landing on the site; instruction the next day.

Why it matters

Speed is a service. A client with a fixed external deadline is not comparing firms on brochure quality. She is finding out who picks up, who can tell her which route fits, and who can start this week.
