Background
Mr H had previously instructed A Y & J Solicitors with his Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Entry Clearance application. We have provided him with our services and his previous application for entry clearance as a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) was successful. Mr H again instructed us to use our services for his Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Extension visa.
How we helped
After receiving the instructions, we prepared a detailed checklist outlining the documents required for preparation and to be submitted along with the application. The checklist also contained information related to the investment made into the business.
For a successful extension application, Mr H needed to show that he made an investment of at least £200,000 into his business and be able to provide specified evidence with respect to the investment. He was also required to show that he created two full-time jobs. Mr H was relying on the Covid-19 concession in order to meet the job creation requirement. Further remuneration as a director would also not count as expenditure for the Company towards the application and we asked Mr H to share with us the business’s financial accounts since inception.
We drafted a detailed legal representation letter explaining the background of the case and how Mr S has met the requirements for the grant of a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) extension visa. We also drafted an online application for Mr S and uploaded documents online on the UKVCAS website.
The UKVI requested further information about the application and we provided further detailed explanations with other relevant documents.
Result
Mr S application was successful and he was granted a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Extension visa.
