Global Business Mobility (GBM) is a framework of five sponsored routes for employers. Each one moves existing overseas staff into a linked UK business on a strictly temporary basis.
  • First, we will work out which of the five sponsored routes actually fits the person you are moving.
  • Then we will handle the sponsor licence and the compliance record, as your global business mobility solicitors.
You will need a UK entity that can hold a sponsor licence before anyone applies. We will tell you exactly where yours stands before you commit. None of the five routes leads directly to settlement in the UK.

Most of this cost falls to the business. The person moving pays the visa fee and the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS). All figures are current as of 2026.
