Background
Mrs S is an employee of an overseas-based company. She was granted leave to enter the UK as the Representative of an overseas business.
She approached us 1 month before her visa expiring date with the intention of seeking advice on her and her 3 dependants’ applications for further leave to remain in the UK under Appendix Representative of an Overseas Business.
How we helped
We prepared a comprehensive checklist outlining all the documentation required and provided our client with the relevant templates required. We assisted our client in gathering and reviewing the mandatory documents.
One of our client’s dependent children was over the age of 18 studying in a different city and residing away from the family home. We assisted our client in gathering the relevant documents to demonstrate that her dependent child remains dependent and is not leading an independent life.
We drafted a detailed legal representation letter setting out the case’s background and demonstrating how Mr S meets the requirements. We also prepared the online application on behalf of Mrs S and assisted with uploading the extensive documentation on the UKVCAS website.
Result
The application was submitted in late July 2022. In late August 2022, our client informed us that she is due to travel overseas for a work project valued at more than £150,000. Further evidence has been provided to UKVI regarding the urgent matter and within 2 working days, the application was approved.
Mrs S was delighted with the result, and she is looking forward to working again with us towards achieving Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK.
