This route has now been rebranded from Tier 1 Exceptional Talent to Global Talent Visa. Global Talent is for talented and promising individuals in the fields of science, engineering, medicine, humanities, digital technology and arts and culture (including film and television, fashion design and architecture) wishing to work in the UK. Applicants will be leaders in their field, or have the potential to be leaders, as determined by an endorsing body that is approved by the Home Office. Applicants can apply for either 3 years, or 5 years entry clearance or leave to remain. After this, successful applicants can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and ultimately, British Citizenship.
